5 Great Hiking Trails in San Diego


If you're looking for a refreshing way to get some exercise check out these San Diego hiking trails! They are perfect for those looking to unwind and soak in all of the beauty San Diego has to offer.

1. Located in Poway- Blue Sky reserve offers a great workout, incredible views, and tranquil setting. Start your hike in blue sky and make your way through the reserve and up to Lake Ramona

2. With trailheads in Poway or Ramona Mount Woodson is great for avid hikers! This hike leads to stunning views that on clear days can last for miles!
3. Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve is located within San Diego city limits and yet remains one of the wildest stretches of land on our Southern California coast! It is perfect for those seeking an easier hike with a stunning view! There are 8 miles of trails, a visitor center, and guided nature walks on weekends and holidays.
 
4. Iron Mountain Trail, like the Mount Woodson and Blue Sky Trails, is located in Poway. It starts off straight and slightly uphill, but soon curves upward into the  mountains. The trail is well maintained yet hikers will feel like they are miles from civilization.

  2. There's also a really nice trail that goes from along the base of Stone Mountain, winding through the back woods of Country Estates. I don't know what it's called, but it's a gorgeous hike. It goes by an old dam that is fun to explore
